PinionsCo runs a set of independent music and creative ventures. Each venture has its own website, and this site, pinionsco.com, is where accounts, purchases, courses and community live for all of them. This policy covers pinionsco.com.
What we collect
- Account information. Your name and email address when you create an account, plus anything you choose to add to your profile.
- Order information. What you bought, when, and the billing details needed to complete the sale. Card numbers are handled by our payment processor and never reach our servers.
- Email preferences. Your address and whether you have opted in, if you subscribe.
- Usage data. Standard analytics about pages visited and how you arrived, plus routine server logs including IP address, browser and timestamps.
- Anything you send us. Messages through a form or by email.
Why we collect it
To sell you things and give you access to what you bought, to keep your account working across every venture, to send you email you asked for, to answer you when you get in touch, and to understand which pages are useful. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Who else handles it
Running this site means using a few services, and each one sees the part of your data it needs to do its job:
- The payment processor that handles checkout and card details.
- Our email service, for transactional messages such as receipts and password resets, and for newsletters if you opted in.
- Google Analytics, for aggregate site usage.
- Our web host and its content delivery network, which keep the site online and log requests.
How long we keep it
Account and order records are kept as long as your account is open, and afterwards for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data follows the provider's own retention schedule.
Cookies
This site uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember what is in your cart, and measure traffic. You can block cookies in your browser, but signing in and checking out will stop working if you do.
Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not stop receipts or account notices, which are part of the service. Email hello@pinionsco.com and say what you want done.
Children
This site is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be announced by email to account holders.
